Brief
Create a jungle theme for a surf-wear clothing store. We created a 15m snake skeleton, elephant tusks, bamboo facade and boneyard gates.

The skull and vertebrae were sculpted in polyurethane foam. Because of the height of the snake, fibreglass wasn't used as it would have made it too heavy and it needed to be very lightweight. There were three different sizes of tusks. All were created using the same method of sculpting in polyurethane foam with a fibreglass coating. For security reasons the gates had to have a steel core. However, we encapsulated the steel in expandable polyurethane foam. The facade comprised of real bamboo secured to the shop front. The light-box consisted of two oil drums with the letters shaped by plasma cutting.
Finished Results / Interesting Notes
On opening day everybody thought that the skeleton was in fact a fossil secured from the museum, much to our amusement.
